Wow! They weren't kidding

I just finished week three of my nursing classes. Wow! This stuff is not easy. But of course why would it be? I am going to be taking care of other people. I need to know what to do at the drop of a hat. It is a lot of fun. Yesterday I got to put in catheters! I know you probably don't want to hear all that, and it is too much information, but it was fun, fun, fun! I know I am weird, no need to inform me.

Class is really demanding. Now I usually get up at about 5:30 in the morning. I start clinical or class between 6:30 and 7:00 and usually go until 4:30 in the afternoon. I then come home and clean the house which has a family of six floating around in it. I have to say this too, they treat me like a mom out of the 1950s! I do all the cleaning, every bit of it. I do the dishes, cook, laundry, and all the other fun stuff like sweeping, mopping, and dusting. I then make sure everyone has supper. I used to cook a lot of homemade, but I will admit this, I have been running for the freezer section and take out for the last week. I try to limit that to once or twice a week though. After supper it is study time. I am in my books from about 5:00 in the evening to 8:00. I then make sure all the kids clean themselves via the shower, snack, brush their teeth, and go to bed. Now I get a minute to take a quick shower, head to the bed, watch TV, and then lights out between 11:00 and 12:00. Then I start over again. I don't know what it is either, maybe anxiousness or stress but I can't fucking sleep man! I lay in bed for hours tossing and turning. I drink chamomile, take melatonin, and lay there. What is wrong with me? I am so tired I could just die! I will survive though. I honestly love what I am doing right now and wouldn't have it any other way. Well, except for the sleep part. That would be nice.

Other than all that, I am just trying to prioritize my life right now. I have to get some me time, or fun time in right? Last weekend the grandparents took all the kids, all four of them! We went out to the bar and had a blast. It was nice to be able to just be normal for one night. Other exciting things are new reviews coming up. I just got the Madame Butterfly 3 Wild Ride from Eden Fantasys. This thing looks amazing and so much fun. I can't wait until I get to try it out!!! I just have to find the time. I mean look at it. Doesn't it just make you want to stop what you're doing, drop your pants, and take a wild ride? Or is that just me?

One Week Down

I made it through my first week run of my second term in practical nursing. Believe it or not... I am still alive and breathing. We had a huge increase in admissions this year though and it has been like hanging out at a circus for a week. We took a trip to our master campus and got to play in the simulation lab. They have manikins that I have never seen before. They are $60,000 fake humans. They breath, talk, have heart beats, bowel sounds... I can give them an IV! They can even go into respiratory arrest and I have to do CPR to revive them! These things are just about the coolest thing I have ever seen.

So there were a lot of great points in the week, but as I mentioned we had a big jump in admissions. We have a class of 40 crammed into a small classroom and let me tell you, it is going to shrink a lot, a lot, a lot. We have a mix of ages from 18 to 50. Quite a difference there. You know who drives me the craziest though? The 18 year old girls that have no clue how the world works. They have absolutely no common sense. Don't get me wrong, they are smart girls. They are about the dumbest smart people I know. I am going to have to learn to have patience because they are already getting on my nerves.

Other than that, it has been a good week. I have loads of homework, nursing interventions to write, and studying to do though. I hope everyone had a great week!

I don't know what it is about me, but I always seem to like the low-grader toys. Others see them as cheap, useless guys, but not I! For example, one of my all time favorite dildos is the Basix Dong. I received it from Eden Fantasys Sex Toys and have been loving this adorable thing ever since.

This guy comes in three color varieties: beige, black, or pink. You know I had to go with the pink one right? It's not as much fun if it isn't pink. He has a lot going for him. Number 1, I have to tell you, he is only $15.99! That is a great price in my eyes and I have had this dildo for almost two years now. He is still going strong.

Some specs you might find interesting are that the Basix Dong is 7 brilliant inches of pink goodness. It has an insertable length of about 5" and a diameter of 2". Yes, this baby is packing. The Basix dong also has a realistic shape and tone to it. It is crafted of rubber and can be used with any lubricant you could possible want as well. Some people are irritated by the "new" smell of rubber. I don't really mind it all, but if you are prone to yeast infections, you might want to cover him with a toy cover/condom or go with a different material. Rubber is much more porous than materials such as glass or silicone so you may want to avoid this toy if that will be an issue for you.

As for his shape and curvature, he has it made. The Basix Dong has the right curves in all the right places. He starts with a pronounced head that you are going to know is there and transforms down into a magical, stout rod. The shaft has a slight curve in it as well, so you are going to feel like there is something more realistic traveling through your crevices. The Basix Dong is pretty hefty. I only use this toy vaginally, but if you are brave enough and use clean, safe precautions... you can enjoy him anally.

And aw finally the suction cup. Yes, we need us some suction cups don't we? {wink} The suction cup on this dildo is amazing! Really, it is. It just needs a little slickness or moisture and this thing will hold onto just about anything. I use it on the table and chairs, the bathtub, and I have even stuck it to a plastic tote lid. If you are in search of a suction toy that is going to stay in place while you get your freak on, you can count on the Basix Dong getting the job done.

I have really enjoyed this dildo regardless of it having a cheap price tag. The material, flexibility, suction, and color draw me in. Other than it having a lower material safety, I honestly have nothing bad to say about this big guy. I recommend you give it a try and you might be surprised.

10 Function Risque {Review}

Butt plugs are really fun for me and Eden Fantasys has a huge selection of them. Finding the right one for me has always been my biggest obstacle. Thanks to Eden Fantasys, I was able to review the 10 Function Risque butt plug and fell in love at first feel.

 

The Risque is set at an admirable size. It reaches 4" in length {3" insertable}and is right at around 1 1/8" in diameter. The size may sound small but for me, it was a bit plump. I don't think this is the perfect butt plug for a beginner. I think an advanced user would enjoy it much more because of the taper it has in it.

I have used a variety of plugs and personally the ones that vibrate are probably my favorite. There is just something about a vibrating machine rocking my world. Aw. The Risque is great for a vibrating plug because it has 10 separate functions that differ in speeds and function. The Risque escalates, pulsates, and vibrates. It also does this at different speeds that vary from low to high. With so many functions, I promise you are going to find one you like. The control is very easy to access too. It is located on the bottom side of the base and is changed by simply pressing the button. No twisting, twirling, or moving buttons. You can press through all the functions as you play or stick to your favorite one.

As for material... I am in love. The Risque has a soft, satiny finish. It is crafted of TPR and plastic. The plastic parts are purely for stationary and battery covering. The complete insertable parts of the toy are soft TPR. I was pleased with the material the company went with because it is really flexible and can be moved around while in use. This also makes it more comfortable if you decided to wear your plug while moving about. I really love this plug because of the comfort from the material. It just makes sense. I feel that this is one of the best plugs I have ever used on the comfort and pleasure level. If you have been using plugs for a while and are comfortable with them I definitely recommend the Risque. It is at the top of my list for plugs. I also recommend always using a good lubricant. It will make things more comfortable and pleasurable- *trust me*.

Aphrodisia: Music of Love {Review}

Setting the mood is usually a natural part of love making. We want our partners to feel in the mood. There are a lot of tactics one can take to achieve getting in the mood. Around our house, we like to use candles, oils, scents, and of course music. Love making music varies from *bang* *bang* music to us. We want to set the right mood and music is a really easy way of doing this. The CD is a collection of eleven songs that are smooth jazz. It is a great selection for love making. We play it for that purpose and relaxing, as well. There are a few with sings, however. Aphrodisia: Music of Love works really well for massage music, too.

My partner has used a handful of masturbators that we have found over at Eden Fantasys. We have tried fleshlights, tubes, and other varieties. He decided to try out the Kaylani masturbator and was not that satisfied. Although Kaylani is very appealing on the eyes and the perfect hand-size, she lacks in the more interesting department- texture.

Kaylani is 5" long and has three insertable holes; doggy-style vagina and ass and the mouth as well. Each hole leads to a larger inner tube that is completely texture-less. The playing cards have about 20 different female models. Each model has 2-3 unique poses and there are a total of 54 cards. The cards are primarily boob shots. There are a few booty shots, but they are limited. The cards are also very affordable. They are perfect for spicing up a card game or to give as a gag gift.

We did feel that the cards were a little outdated. Most images seems PG13ish compared to adult products we usually find. There were no vaginal shots at all. That was a bit of a bummer. Other than being a little out-dated, the cards work great for a good game of poker. They add a little fun to the mix and they have held together nicely. The plastic is coated well and the cards have not worn out or came apart yet.

Saturday is my day. I get to go do all the lovely shopping, errand running, and all the glory that goes with it. I do this on Saturdays because it is like the only day I have other authority figures around this house so I can get away to do them without having four kids attached to my hip. Well last Saturday I went to the grocery store to get some things for supper and took my 9 year old daughter with me. No big deal right?

We did our run through the store and then headed out. It was a little busy in the parking lot because it was Saturday. We went walking right down the middle aisle after a white SUV passed through before us. We were walking down on the right side headed for our car when this crazy bitch slams her big pile of white utility vehicle in reverse and speeds backwards. What the fuck are you doing??? I grabbed my daughter by the arm and threw her like a rag doll. I then proceeded to get myself out of the way of psycho grandma all for her to slam on her breaks and whipped into the handicap parking zone she just passed five seconds ago.

My heart was pounding so fast and I stood there are watched big mama jump out of her vehicle, slam the door, and waltz in the store.

Are you fucking serious right now?

Some people shouldn't drive, and others shouldn't have those fancy wheelchair stickers hanging from their mirrors so they can all most run over standing children and go on with their business. What is the world coming to? Seriously?

Discovering My Own Sexuality

Sex is something that I am very open to. I use to consider myself a prude because I just did the regular missionary style thing with my ex and that is all we did. Honestly, I just didn't enjoy it. I participated only because I thought it was the right thing to do. It wasn't until I met my new partner that I really took off in the sexuality department. I wasn't very experienced but everything just felt so natural. I tried new things and I found that sex could be enjoyable.

After we explored many things, and five years later, we are now so in tune with each other. I know all of his spots and he knows mine. We know when we want to try new things and we both enjoy being surprised. It is really amazing, knowing who you are and who you are with. I like that we can be so open and share each other in a way that we don't share with anyone else but each other. Sexuality is something really amazing.

Is that vanilla cake I smell?

I am a sucker for bath and shower gels, bubble baths, etc. When I was given the opportunity to review the new line Cake at Eden Fantasys, I jumped at it. Imagine cake-smelling bubbles!

Cake is a new company to me and I had never used there products before. I received a 17.4 oz bottle of Cake Supremely Rich Bath and Shower Froth in "it's a slice." They also have "desserted island," which I have yet to try.

The beauty product is infused with virgin oil de coco creme which gives it the really frothy, yummy scent. The it's a slice scent smells like vanilla cake. I always find it humorous too because I use this as a soap for a quick wash-up before bed. I then go lay down and tell my hubby that "it smells like cake down there!" We always get a good laugh.



Anyway, as for the product itself... I love it. It is a perfectly good, sudsy bubble bath or shower gel. It can be used either way. I prefer to use it as a shower gel because the scent seems to be a little different when used as a bubble bath (although I am unsure of why this is).

Have you seen the commercial where she says "it's like you shoved a rainbow up your nose?" Well this is like you shoved a piece of yummy vanilla cake up your nose. Love it! I highly recommend this product as a gift too. It would be great for bridal/baby showers, etc.

If you have not had the opportunity to try Cake products, I recommend you do so. They are perfect for a little "me" time and everyone deserves a little pampering. Oh and you can make your who-ha smell like vanilla cake! How delicious is that?

After Shave Oil

Eden Fantasys recently began carrying products from After Care. They are a unique company that stresses their attention on Natural grooming therapy. They believe that the use of their products should be added into your personal care routine. I have been using After Shave Oil by After Care for a few weeks now and am very pleased to report that it is a really sound product.

The After Shave Oil contains " Isopropyl Myristate, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Oil, Salicylic Acid, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Mineral Oil, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retyinyl Palmitate, Squalane, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, and Phenoxyethanol." Something that I found very unique about this product was the use of the Chamomile Oil. Chamomile is a natural soother and it works really well for caring for the after effect of shaving.

The After Shave is oil-based and comes out of a spray dispenser. It is very thin and does not seem to leave a terrible oily residue afterward.

I could tell a huge difference in the softness of my skin the very first time I used the After Shave Oil. It gets better and better every time I use it. I simply do my normal shaving routine. I have to admit, I am an excessive  shaver. I shave just about every single day, unless I am just too tired. But 9 times out of 10, I shave. So shaving bumps and dry skin was a huge problem for me. I usually just used lotion or a baby oil product directly after my shower, and it helped. But I have witnessed a major difference in smoothness on my legs and pubic area since I began using After Shave Oil by After Care.

To use the oil, I just spritz it over the areas I shaved and lightly rub it in. It does not take much. I usually use about two squirts per leg, one for my pubic area, and one for my underarms. It has a light citrus scent to it, but unfortunately it does not seem to stick around for long. I wish the aroma lasted a little longer, because it does have a nice, mild zing to it. Since I began using the After Shave Oil, I have seen reduced shave bumps and my legs are always silky smooth. I love this product!

Warnings: Because this is an oil based product, I do recommend keeping it away from the anus and genital area. It can be used on the pubis, but use with care. Oils can lead to build up of bacteria and that is something that we just don't want! This is not a personal lubricant and should not be used as one at any time.

Black Draping Front Dress

The Black Draping Front Dress, available at Eden Fantasys, is obviously a sexy piece. Just look at the sexy model over there. Sexy! So of course I thought that I would look super hot in this piece as well. Um... not quite. It turned out to be more of a, meh it's just okay, king of dress that I retired to the closet... already.

I think it is probably a little black dress that your partner is going to find you attractive in just for the simple fact that it has a plunging neck line and rises where the sun don't shine in the back. I, on the other hand, just didn't get that "oh look at me, I'm sexy" feeling from it. I do like that it can be worn out, if you feel comfortable with your girls showing a little.

As for the product information, the dress is made of spandex and polyester. It is available at Eden Fantasys in small, medium, large, and extra large. I ordered the small at I probably should have went with a medium because I just don't like how hiked up the backside is. I was hoping it would come down to below my bottom so I could feel like I was actually wearing a dress, and not a shirt. I am 5'4" and 130 lbs. Below you can see how the small fits my body size.

I am happy with the piece. It is really pretty and I suppose that I see myself dragging it out from time to time. But I just didn't fall in love with it. I think this dress is probably a little more suitable for someone with a large bust. Being smaller chested, I find it less attractive at the drape of the dress. The dress also has a sexy sequin waistline that I really loved. It sparkles and glistens off the lights in the room. I also really adore the ruffled skirt part of the dress. Just wishing it was a little longer or that I would have gotten a size up. The dress is also a halter style. It comes up around the back of the neck and ties, so you can adjust it to your body size. The neck straps are also accented with rhinestones, giving the neck area just a little more bling.

As for caring for the dress, the manufacturer recommends hand washing in cold water and allowing it to air dry.

Overall, I like the dress. It just is not a favorite of mine now that I have actually worn it. However, if you have a body like the babe modeling it above, she is rocking that thing! By all means, flaunt it!

Heart Warmer Massager

Everyone deserves a good massage...right? Of course you do! One of my favorite items to use during massages with my partner is the Heart Warmer Massager from Eden Fantasys. It's magical! The Heart Warmer comes in the little box you see above. It has cute packaging and all the care directions you could need right on the label. The massager is made of PVC and has a Velvety texture. The outside rim of the heart does have a rigid seam, but does not seem to cause any irritation during massage. Just try to keep in mind that it is there. The massager works best with an oil. I apply oil either to the body or directly to the heart. It glides easily across the skin and works great for giving a heated massage. The heart warmer is also perfect for muscle aches. It can be laid on the sore area and the heat lasts between 20-30 minutes.

To reuses the heart warmer, it can simply be boiled until the liquid is clear again. Once boiled, it is ready to go again!

We have owned our heart massager for at least two years now and it is still going strong. It is the perfect little addition to our special grown up time with each other. I recommend the heart warmer to all couples, as well as those who suffer from sore muscles.

 Remember back in December when I fell in love with the Venus Body Scrub? I do! Now I have had the chance to experience more of their product line and I continue to be super pleased.
